You are not your diagnosis.
And you do not have to walk this chapter alone.
Radiantly Rooted is a structured, compassionate support experience for women navigating life during treatment, recovery, and long after.
This is more than a support group.
It is a guided journey designed to help you feel steady in your body, informed in your choices, and supported in community.
Healing is lived here — not just talked about.
Between appointments, many women are left holding questions:
What should I eat?
How do I calm the anxiety?
Why does my body feel unfamiliar?
How do I feel like myself again?
Radiantly Rooted was created to gently fill that space.
It was also created for the season that comes after treatment — when many women are told they are “done,” yet still searching for guidance on how to support their long-term health and reduce the risk of recurrence.
We focus on what you can influence:
• Your daily rhythm
• Your nourishment
• Your nervous system
• Your breath
• Your movement
• Your emotional steadiness
Not through fear.
Not through rigid protocols.
But through grounded, structured guidance.

Radiantly Rooted blends:
• Whole-foods, anti-inflammatory nourishment
• Ayurvedic daily rhythm principles (Dinacharya)
• Nervous system regulation tools
• Guided breath practices (Prāṇāyāma)
• Gentle, adaptable movement
• Trauma-informed somatic support
• Facilitated peer connection
This is structured.
This is intentional.
This is steady support rooted in both lived experience and informed practice.
Radiantly Rooted is designed to work alongside your existing medical or naturopathic care.
Many women experience a gap once treatment begins or ends — marked by anxiety, fatigue, digestive disruption, and uncertainty around lifestyle decisions. The greatest benefit of this program is its ability to support you with structure and care as you move forward after treatment or between care cycles. It also supports women who want practical, sustainable ways to care for their bodies long after treatment ends.
Our focus includes:
• Supporting nervous system regulation
• Strengthening digestion and anti-inflammatory eating
• Restoring daily rhythm and circadian awareness
• Reducing fear-based decision paralysis
• Providing safe, facilitated peer supportThis program does not provide medical treatment, diagnosis, or psychotherapy.
It is educational and supportive in nature, and participants are encouraged to remain under the supervision of their healthcare providers

Month 1: Morning Alignment & Joy
Rebuilding safety in the body through steady morning rhythms
In the first month, we focus on the earliest hours of the day — because how your morning begins often determines how your nervous system, digestion, and energy respond for the rest of it.Experience the Benefits of Feeling Calm, Energized, and in Control as you learn to:
• Wake your body gently instead of jolting it into stress mode
• Reduce morning anxiety, dread, or fatigue through structured grounding practices
• Support digestion and bowel regularity using simple Ayurvedic morning rhythms
• Stabilise energy through warm, anti-inflammatory morning nourishment
• Build a personal morning routine that feels doable, not overwhelmingBy the end of Month 1, participants commonly notice:
• calmer mornings
• more predictable digestion
• steadier energy
• increased emotional resilienceNot because they force change — but because their body finally feels safe enough to shift.
Restoring energy, digestion, and confidence around food
In the second month, we focus on the middle of the day — when digestion is naturally strongest and the body is most receptive to nourishment. This is where many women feel the most confusion after diagnosis or treatment: what to eat, how much, and what actually supports healing.Experience the Benefits of Feeling Nourished, Energized, and Confident as you learn to:
• Build simple, anti-inflammatory meals without overwhelm or rigid rules
• Understand which foods support digestion, energy, and immune resilience
• Reduce bloating, heaviness, or post-meal fatigue through food timing and combining
• Use gentle breath practices to support energy and mental clarity
• Create a realistic midday rhythm that supports your body instead of draining itBy the end of Month 2, participants commonly notice:
• more stable daytime energy
• improved digestion and reduced bloating
• less anxiety around food choices
• greater confidence in nourishing themselvesNot because they followed a strict plan — but because they understand what their body responds to.

Supporting sleep, calming the nervous system, and restoring inner steadiness
The final month focuses on the evening hours, when the body naturally shifts into repair, detoxification, and emotional processing. Many women find that this is when worry, fatigue, and restlessness surface most strongly.
Experience the Benefits of Calm, Relief, and Restoration as you learn to:
• Create a calming evening rhythm that signals safety to the nervous system
• Support deeper, more restorative sleep through gentle night practices
• Release stored tension through simple somatic and breath techniques
• Ease anxiety, fear, and racing thoughts before bed
• Close each day feeling grounded rather than depleted
By the end of Month 3, participants commonly notice:
• improved sleep quality
• reduced nighttime anxiety
• less physical tension in the body
• a greater sense of calm and emotional steadinessNot because they pushed themselves to relax — but because their body learned how to unwind again. Each month builds gently on the last, creating a steady return to balance — physically, emotionally, and neurologically.

Kiran Bissoon is an Ayurvedic Cancer Nutritionist and Joy-Health Coach whose work integrates evidence-informed anti-inflammatory nutrition principles with Ayurvedic daily rhythm practices to support individuals navigating cancer and chronic illness.
Her path into this work was not purely academic — it was lived.
As a primary caregiver to a loved one with secondary lung cancer, Kiran experienced first-hand the emotional, physical, and logistical realities that exist beyond clinic walls. She understands the nervous system strain that accompanies prolonged uncertainty, and the deep need for steadiness between medical appointments.
Her professional approach was shaped by her own experience with chronic inflammation, as well as her sister-in-law’s sustained remission from Multiple Sclerosis symptoms. In both cases, healing emerged not from a single intervention, but through the combination of structured anti-inflammatory nutrition, gentle restorative movement, and intentional joy-based nervous system practices designed to reduce chronic stress signalling and support physiological balance.
Kiran’s work is grounded in the understanding that inflammation is not only biochemical, but neurological. When the nervous system shifts from chronic survival mode into safety and regulation, digestive capacity improves, inflammatory burden decreases, and the body’s self-repair mechanisms function more efficiently.
Over the years, she has supported clients navigating diabetes, cancer, gut dysbiosis, and inflammatory conditions through practical, sustainable nourishment, rhythm-based living, and structured regulation practices — always in collaboration with ongoing medical care.
Radiantly Rooted brings together her lived caregiving experience, clinical nutrition training, and disciplined focus on nervous system balance as a foundation for healing. Her work complements oncology treatment by helping participants rebuild trust in their bodies through food, breath, movement, and daily practices that support resilience.
Kiran brings calm authority, compassion, and deep respect for the body’s intelligence to every space she holds — reminding participants that healing is not forced, but cultivated through steady, informed daily practice.

Paula Guerreiro spent more than 20 years in a high-powered career as a Provincial Prosecutor before her life shifted abruptly with a breast cancer diagnosis in 2014.
She was diagnosed with Stage III aggressive ER/PR-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer that had already spread. What followed was a six-year medical journey that included ten surgeries, eight rounds of chemotherapy, twenty-five rounds of radiation, and, in 2017, a second diagnosis of Stage II thyroid cancer.
What emerged from this journey was not only physical survival, but profound personal transformation.
Navigating aggressive treatments required Paula to become her own advocate — learning to ask better questions, to research deeply, and to understand what her own body needed in order to heal and flourish after years of medical intervention. She faced the reality of rebuilding a body and identity that felt unfamiliar, fragile, and forever changed.
Through her participation in a cancer support group, Paula discovered the power of community. She learned that it was okay to feel different, to feel broken, and that gentleness toward the body and kindness toward the mind were not weaknesses, but necessities. What began as participation gradually evolved into purpose.
Paula went on to co-facilitate with the Markham Cancer Support Group until the pandemic brought in-person gatherings to a halt. In 2024, recognizing the absence of local support groups in Markham and Stouffville, she felt called to act. In November 2024, she founded the Stouffville Breast Cancer Support Group, which she continues to lead today.
Through her work with newly diagnosed women of all ages, Paula has come to understand that healing extends far beyond surgeries and treatments. It lives in community. It grows through knowledge. It strengthens through self-advocacy, nourishment, and compassion.
Radiantly Rooted was born from this understanding — that individuals navigating cancer deserve more than survival. They deserve steady support, education, empowerment, and a space where hope can take root again.
Paula brings lived experience, fierce advocacy, and deep compassion to every space she holds, offering others the reassurance that healing is possible — and that no one has to walk this path alone.
Together, Kiran and Paula offer a rare integration of professional guidance and lived experience — creating a space that is both clinically respectful and deeply human.
